PUBLIC OPINION AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Public opinion means the views of the public or the majority of the people on important national affairs or on social matters.Force of public opinion-It is very difficult to solve a national or social problem against public opinion.The government cannt easily do anything against public opinions on any matter. Only a dictatorial government can act against public opinion. But when it does so, it become quite unpopular with the people. A democratic government always respects public opinion. The peoples respresentive inside and outside the elected assemblies try to work and act according to public opinion.Public opinon of educated and cultured people is very valuable and useful but undereducated and uncultured people cannot often form wise and correct opinions on important national and social problems.We should try to educate all our people properly within the shortest possible time. Then public opinionon differnt political, economic and social problem will generally be positive and beneficial.
