Idealism And Optimism

Idealism means having ideas about the high aims or ideals one would like to achive or the perfect thing one
would like to have. It is opposite of realism which means facing facts and dealing with them
practically and sonsidering things as they really are.
Some advantages of idealism or idealistic attitude. It makes us think of the best that we can
do or achieve. I makes us rise above the ordinary or common aims or purposes. Idealism makes
us have the best standrads of character and behaviour before us. We try to have as perfact
a character as possible. Idealism helps us to progress socially and nationally according to
high national aims. Thus, it can take a country or nation to the greatest heights of progress
and glory.
Disadvantages of edealism: It can make us live in our dreams or in our imagination, far away
from life realities. We can become theoretical in our approach to our approach to our problems instead
of solving them directly. We can at times have wrong ideals. In their idealism, national leaders can
prepare their countries militarily to overpower other countries. This can gives rise to competition
resulting in destructive wars.
Optimism
Optimism means a happy view of life or "hopeful" happy feeling about life. An optimist will
always look at the bright side of things.
Optimism and struggle in life. An optimist will makes great efforts or struggle hopefully.
He will not get disappointed easily. More often than not he will succeed.
Optimism and happiness. Optimism keeps us happy and stisfied. We are happy even in difficults.
As a result, we are usually in good health.
Optimism and friendship, An optimist wins friends easily. Others are fond of his company
because of his inner happiness and outward sweetness.
We should be optimistic, but at the same time realistic. We should not forget the realities
of a situation, should not be over-confident or too much hopeful.
